Testimonials

  • The importance of Alexandria Hospital was brought to mind again with one of our friend's recent fall. We are pleased to support the hospital and healthcare on Nevis. Thank you for the work you do to support Nevis.

  • Gary Pemberton, Alexandra Hospital Administrator

We recently received a generous donation of a Blood Gas machine. This is a point of care equipment that will be used to greatly enhance our quality of service. It will be used to assist in the monitoring of our ICU patients. In addition to the monitoring of patients it also has the capability of performing some basic test such as glucose and renal enzymes testing.

I would like to say heartfelt thanks to Friends of Islands Initiatives, Inc (FOIII) for this timely donation. This will greatly enhance our diagnostic capabilities and provide quality health care to the residents of St. Kitts’ and Nevis and visitors alike.

We are grateful to have such a valued partner in FOIII and look forward for future donations as we strive for continuous improvement in our quality of service.

  • Thank you for all you do for our very special island community in Nevis!

  • The Nevis Aquatic and Sailing Center has received the generous donations of 25 life jackets, 2 VHF safety radios, and waterproof first aid kit from Friends of Islands Initiatives..... [We] are extremely grateful for your organization's contribution of safety equipment. Not only will the safety equipment be used in our growing Youth Sail Program but also in our Holiday Sail & Aquatic Camps, Reef Check Courses, Women's Day-Steering the Course and more. This is an incredible support and will make such a difference.... A HUGE “thank you” to Friends of Islands Initiatives for your support. I especially want to thank Shelley for her persistence in overcoming the challenges we faced to get this done.

  • Huge hugs and thanks!! The Swim to Win program is deeply indebted to you and your unwavering support of our initiative to change the dialog and replace fear of the water with fun, family and fitness! ... You made our Christen Swim Camp super special!!! We feel and look like swimmers!!!

  • The Ministry of Social Development and Youth for the Nevis Island Administration extends a profound thanks to Friends of Islands Initiatives, Inc. for your thoughtfulness and generosity, and trust that you will continue in this vein... of doing good by sharing your resources not only to the young people of Nevis, but also society as a whole.
